About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Developer with solid hands-on experience in Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) to help us build, improve, and maintain large-scale digital experiences.
You’ll work with developers, architects, designers, and marketing teams to turn business requirements into reliable, scalable web solutions. You should be comfortable working with established DXP platforms and adapting to different technologies when needed.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex digital experience solutions across enterprise DXP environments.
- Architect reusable components, templates, content models, integrations, and services that can support multiple digital properties.
- Translate complex business, technical, and UX requirements into scalable production-ready solutions.
- Design and implement integrations between DXP platforms and CRM, ERP, PIM, DAM, analytics, marketing automation, commerce, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain headless and hybrid digital experiences using REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Design content models and information architectures that support complex publishing workflows, localization, personalization, and multi-site environments.
- Implement and maintain personalization, content targeting, experimentation, and audience-based experiences.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the application, API, database, infrastructure, and frontend layers.
- Lead technical investigations into complex production issues and provide long-term fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, code reviews, platform upgrades, migrations, and major releases.
- Establish development standards, reusable patterns, testing practices, and engineering best practices across DXP projects.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership on complex implementations.
- Work closely with architects, UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, deployment strategies, and production support.
- Take ownership of technically challenging projects from initial design through development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software or web development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering production solutions using one or more enterprise DXP or CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentful, Salesforce Experience Cloud, or similar.
- Strong expertise in at least one backend ecosystem such as Java, C#, or Node.js, combined with advanced JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
- Strong understanding of headless, hybrid, and traditional CMS architectures and the trade-offs between them.
- Proven experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs and integrating multiple enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of content modeling, component architecture, templating, content workflows, localization, multisite, permissions, and structured content.
- Experience designing systems that handle high traffic, large content repositories, complex integrations, and demanding availability requirements.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of databases, caching, queues, CDN architecture, load balancing, networking, and application performance.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git-based development workflows, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience diagnosing complex issues using application logs, monitoring, tracing, profiling, and performance analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of web security, authentication, authorization, API security, OWASP principles, and secure software development practices.
- Experience planning and executing major platform upgrades, migrations, refactoring projects, or large-scale technology transitions.
- Ability to review complex codebases, identify architectural weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability across frontend, backend, API, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous and technically complex problems without requiring constant supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership on challenging projects.
Nice to Have
- Experience working across multiple enterprise DXP platforms.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentful, or Salesforce Experience Cloud in large-scale production environments.
- Relevant professional certifications from major DXP or cloud vendors.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or similar infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Redis, or other distributed data and caching technologies.
- Experience with CDPs, personalization engines, experimentation platforms, and marketing technology stacks.
- Experience working on large-scale e-commerce, media, financial services, telecommunications, or enterprise content platforms.
- Experience leading DXP migrations, re-platforming projects, or major architectural transformations.
- Open-source contributions, technical writing, conference presentations, or demonstrable personal projects.
Benefits
- Hybrid working with flexible office and remote options.
- Competitive salary based on experience and technical expertise.
- Opportunity to work on complex enterprise-grade digital platforms.
- Exposure to challenging architecture, integration, cloud, and scalability problems.
- Opportunity to work with modern technologies and multiple enterprise platforms.
- Strong technical culture with experienced engineers and architects.
- Professional development and opportunities to deepen technical expertise.
- Opportunity to take ownership of major technical projects and architectural decisions.
- Mentorship and opportunities to grow into technical leadership roles.
- Collaborative environment with developers, architects, designers, DevOps, QA, and business teams.
